Southbound lanes at Palmetto Park Road will close to traffic overnight for three nights starting Sunday.
The lanes will close 11:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Sunday Aug. 11 through Tuesday Aug. 13.
The first lane will close at 9:30 p.m., the second at 10:30 p.m. and the third at 11:30 p.m. All lanes will be closed by 11:59 p.m.
Traffic will be detoured via the southbound exit ramp on Palmetto Park Road to Military Trail and Hillsboro Boulevard. Florida Highway Patrol will be on site to assist motorists.
Closures are for overhead road work north of the Southwest 18th Street overpass, according to FDOT.
The lane closures are part of the $102 million I-95 project converting existing HOV lanes to two tolled express lanes in each direction.
Among other project improvements are bridge widenings at Palmetto Park Road and Camino Real and ramp signals at I-95 entrance ramps from Palmetto Park Road. Completion is expected in spring 2022.
