The area’s most complete calendar of events is now on Boca Voice. Click on Boca Events to find out what’s happening now. And at least for the next three months.
In Boca, there’s a tech talk tonight at Robot Brewery Co. Abe & Louie’s has a happy hour Wednesdays and Fridays.
You can sign up to join runners at the ninth annual 5k Run, Sweat and Beers Thursday night in the park in West Boca.
The city’s free 50th anniversary of Woodstock is a 90-minute show starting 7:30 p.m. Friday in Mizner Park Amphitheater.
The calendar is comprehensive. Events are not only in Boca, but within driving distance. So you’ll also find them in Delray, Boynton and as far north as Jupiter. As far south as Fort Lauderdale and even Miami.
There’s a drop-down menu. So, you can look up events by category. Children and Family. Networking. The Arts. Charity and Causes. Religious Events.
You can even submit an event and register for updates. “The calendar is focused on South Palm Beach County. But if users submit events in West Palm, Broward or Miami, we include them with pleasure,” said Pam Weinroth.
Weinroth has been assembling the calendar for more than two years.
“I’ve always been an entrepreneur. My first business at 24 was a Domino’s Pizza franchise. When I sold it, we had grown to three stores and over 100 full and part-time employees,” she said.
“When Bob and I started our business of medical supplies, we started with one patient and grew to over 10,000. We sold the business in 2016.”
Weinroth is married to Palm Beach County Commissioner Robert “Bob” Weinroth, a former Boca city councilman. They’re a well-known couple around town and involved in the city’s philanthropic circles.
