Trump confidante Roger Stone’s arrest could affect his Feb. 13 talk in Boca. But he’s still booked to speak to the Gold Coast Tiger Bay Club.
“He is scheduled to appear on the 13th but we are awaiting word from his manager. We are hopeful he will be able to appear and continue to defend himself,” club president Howard Appell said Saturday.
Stone was due to share his insights and plug his sixth book “Stones Rules” at the monthly gathering at City Fish Market.
This would be Stone’s third talk to the bi-partisan Gold Coast political club in Boca. His last appearance was in September 2017.
Stone has been outspoken on cable TV about his arrest at his Fort Lauderdale home before dawn Friday.
He’s charged as part of the special counsel investigation into WikiLeaks, according to press reports. Stone faces seven counts including alleged obstruction of an official proceeding, making false statements and witness tampering.
