Mizner Park brings 150 autos in for car gazing 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday for the ninth annual free Father’s Day event.
A Kids Stop area with music, crafts and activities will be set up at the south end toward Lord & Taylor. The green market will have vendors. Kids can touch a truck from the city’s Fire Rescue, police bomb squad and crime prevention unit.
Russ G. Events brings in classic cars with the big fins, custom builds, race cars, antiques, imports, sports cars and hot rods. Owners are on-site to answer questions.
Proceeds raised through car entry fees and donations benefit Make-A-Wish South Florida. The foundation will be stationed in gazebos in the park’s median.
Barricades will not prevent people from entering the park garages from Federal Highway or Mizner Boulevard. Plaza Real inside the park will be closed to traffic in both directions.
