If you’re looking for a real Halloween fright, Enigma Haunt has moved back into Boca through Oct. 31.
This indoor attraction re-invents itself with different scary themes every year. Two floors are carved into set designs like a horror movie. They’re called Cursed, Twisted Mayhem and Realms of Terror. There’s even a blood room.
One-hundred actors trained in scare techniques use professional costumes and makeup. There’s a strict no-touch rule.
“It’s intense, scary and fun. Our guests will find it both terrifying and entertaining,” according to Billy Groeneveld, owner, and co-creator with his wife Karen.
Dates are Friday, Oct. 12, 19, 26; Saturday, Oct. 12, 20, 27; Sunday, Oct. 14, 21, 28; Thursday, Oct. 18, 25; Tuesday, Oct. 30 and Halloween Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Hours vary. For the schedule, go to http://enigmahaunt.com/schedule/
Tickets are available on-site at 1751 N. Military Trail in the same building as Nipper’s Bar & Grill, across from the Shops at Boca Center. Or to avoid lines and waiting, go to www.enigmahaunt.com or call 855-994-2868.
Costs are $25 for Realms of Terror; $30 for all three haunts and $45 for a priority pass. Part of the proceeds are donated to Don’t Be A Monster Anti-bullying Initiative, according to the company.
