Actress Fran Drescher is coming in for the four-day Florida Comedy Film Festival held in Boca for the first time.
Drescher will receive The Comedy Legend Award and speak during the four-day festival and gala Feb. 6 through 9, said executive director Jill Melody. A ticket package includes a meet and greet with fans.

Tickets range from $10 to $15 or $7 for the family time through the Willow box office or call 561-347-3948. The box office is open noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; closed Christmas day.

Drescher will appear at the Willow and a cocktail dinner reception and Red Carpet Awards in the Marriott Boca Raton, Melody said.
Her last public appearance in Boca was 10 years ago as the celebrity speaker for Go Pink. Drescher sold out the annual breast cancer fundraiser organized by Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation. Her longtime Cancer Schmancer Movement came out of a misdiagnosis for uterine cancer.
Drescher, 62, reportedly turned heads on the red carpet at an NBC event in May announcing her new “Indebted” sitcom, according to Yahoo News. The show is about a woman who hits financial rock bottom and moves in, unannounced, with her married son.
