Get ready for burgers galore at the 6th Annual Boca Burger Battle this Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Sanborn Square Park in Boca Raton.
Boca Raton Tribune reports that both previous 2016 1st Place winners will be there including, M.E.A.T. Eatery & Taproom and Tucker Duke’s as well as thirteen other South Florida chefs. M.E.A.T. Eatery & Taproom will be defending their 2015 and2016 Champion for Judge’s Pick for “Best Grill Master” and Tucker Duke’s will defend their 2014, 2015 and 2016 1st Place pick for People’s Choice as “Best Battle Burger”.
Other 2017 Battle Participants are Shake Shack, Deck 84, Sybarite Pig, Burger & Beer Joint, Tap 42, Metro Diner, ROK:BRGR, Yard House, Josie’s Ristorante, Black Rose Irish Pub, Flashback American Kitchen & Bar, Beer Trade Co. and Junior’s Cheesecake.
Attendees can also expect to enjoy additional bites, craft beers, summer wines, seasonal spirits, retail vendors and live entertainment by PUMP, states Boca Raton Tribune.
According to Boca Raton Tribune, the 2017 Grill Master Judges are Rey De La Osa, Resident Chef at Aprons Cooking School, Jason L. Smith, Executive Chef at STEAK 954; Jamie Frankel, Burgers by the Beach & Floridian Beer Society; Robert S Weinroth, City Commissioner of Boca Raton; Douglas Heizer, Publisher at The Boca Raton Tribune; Rob Calvert and Ghia, co-host of the Paul Castronovo Show on WBBG (FM 105.9) and Pete Leonard, Master of Ceremonies from The Food for Thought Radio Show.
General Admission tickets are $50 a person and VIP Tickets are $75 per person. VIP ticket holders will get one hour extra with admission at 6 p.m. while general admission ticket holders can arrive at 7 p.m. with the event lasting until 10 p.m.
