Golfers can Play “Fore” the Kids! on Friday Oct. 25 at Boca Grove Plantation Golf & Tennis Club.
The tournament will benefit 800 at-risk children and their families served by Florence Fuller Child Development Centers.
This year’s honoree is philanthropist Peter Gary, founder and CEO of Pinnacle Advertising and publisher of Boca Voice.
This is the 32nd year Rotary Club of Boca Raton Sunrise is organizing the golf outing, the second year at Boca Grove. Gary chaired the club’s 33 annual Boca Raton Teacher of the Year Awards.
Registration opens at 11 a.m. for practice shots on the driving range and a light brunch. The shotgun start and a four-ball scramble is at 1 p.m. Refreshments on the course. A barbecue dinner with an open bar and awards presentation is 5:45 p.m.
Prizes will include first and second place for gross and net scores; hole in one; closest to the pin, straightest drive and more.
Sponsorships for the presenting, gold and silver sponsors are available. All three include foursomes, advertising and marketing materials, publicity, tee signs and more.
