A Look Back on The Boca Raton Seafood & Music Festival
The Boca Raton Seafood Festival on Saturday, February 10th – Sunday, February 11th, was a delicious success! Over 10,000 people attended the opening day of the very first Seafood and Music Festival, located in Mizner Park. The event provided tasty choices ranging from Lobster and Crab Legs to Fish Tacos. Live music kept the crowd going, along with amazing art and food tents. With only a $5 admission fee, one can easily spend the entire day at this lovely event.
I personally sampled some soup, ate some delicious ice cream, purchased a beautiful necklace, and couldn’t resist admiring the sea turtle wall art. My choice of meal came from the one and only Maine Lobster, famous for winning a deal on Shark Tank with Barbara.
After a day of walking around in the sun, we kicked back and relaxed by the bar. Tables and seats were filled with people reveling in the day. Genres of music varied from soul, rock, R&B, and jazz to reggae and Caribbean – very fitting for a seafood festival.
If you didn’t get a chance to check it out this year, be sure to attend next year! Definitely worth it.
This kind of festivals reminds me why I love living in South Florida!
