Called the Three-Day Girls Getaway, the promotion is through Winfrey’s “O, The Oprah Magazine.”
The cruise sails roundtrip on Jan. 30. Passengers spend a day at Half Moon Cay, Holland America Line’s private island in the Bahamas.
Winfrey will be joined by editor-at-large Gayle King and magazine editorial staff. They’ll host special presentations and events on board.
Winfrey was named godmother of the Nieuw Statendam.
The ship left Dec. 19 for its first voyage and will sail from Port Everglades through April.
It’s 975 feet long and accommodates 2,666 passengers. It was built at Fincantieri’s Marghera shipyard in Italy.
