Another overnight I-95 ramp closure is set for Sunday. And lanes will be impacted overnight later this week on Palmetto Park Road.
Heads up on Camino Real east of Military Trail for overnight lane closures later this month.
The contractor needs eastbound Palmetto Park Road to southbound I-95 ramp closed on Sunday night, Jan 13 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. to safely perform bridge demolition on the Camino Real bridge, according to Florida Department of Transportation.
Westbound traffic on Palmetto Park Road at I-95 will be fully closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 for sign structure removal.
Eastbound Palmetto Park Road at I-95 will be fully closed 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17 also to remove signs.
Camino Real at the overhead I-95 stretch will be fully closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22 and Wednesday, Jan. 23 for bridge beam setting. There’s already one lane closed in each direction as needed 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The bridge widenings at Palmetto Park Road and Camino Real are part of the ongoing work on I-95 from south of Southwest 10th Street to south of Glades Road. The project to install high occupancy lanes has a spring 2022 completion date.
