According to the Boca Newspaper, the city of Boca Raton and Palm Beach County Sports Commission put forward extra funding to ensure that this event remained in Boca Raton. In total, the city spent $975,000 in a one-time extra payment to the tournament.

The event organizers and tournament director, Eddie Carbone have been searching for a new 2019 title sponsor since Allianz dropped out as the sponsor for the event.

Sallyport is a global company that focuses on supporting military operations in difficult environments. The 16th green will now be named the Sallyport Pavilion in honor of Sallyport being the Title Sponsor of the tournament’s Military Outpost. All current military and veterans (ID required) will receive free admission to the Championship and have access to the Sallyport Pavilion which will include complimentary food and drinks. All money raised goes toward the Boca Raton Regional Hospital.

The practice rounds are free, while the championship tickets are $20 per person excluding children under the age of 17 and seniors over the age of 70 who enter for free.
