Digital bank debuts in Mizner Park to benefit Florence Fuller kids

Already part of the neighborhood, PurePoint Financial cut the ribbon on the center in Mizner Park.

Mayor Scott Singer and Councilwoman Andrea O’Rourke did the honors, before rushing off to a city council meeting Wednesday.

The reception benefited Florence Fuller Child Development Centers, especially Wee Dreams Ball. PurePoint is auction sponsor of the Nov. 30 gala at Boca West Country Club. Tickets at available at Florence Fuller website.

“Before PurePoint even opened their doors in Boca Raton, their leadership became involved in our community,” said Fuller’s senior advancement director Diane Shawcross.

Director and market executive of the Miami market Scott Van Wyngarden is a Rotary Club of Boca Raton member. So Neil Saffer, Pat McCarthy Gary and Bonnie Hildebrand, and president-elect Vanessa Havener were there to support him.

PurePoint Financial is part of the fifth largest bank in the world, a Japanese company. Their minimum deposit is $10,000 and they’re FDIC insured, Van Wyngarden said.

Raphael Castro is the financial manager at their fifth South Florida location at 2nd St.  The entrance is on the northeast corner on Mizner Boulevard at Federal Highway.

Castro introduced his wife Clara. They’re Boca residents raising three kids in public schools.
