Robert Kennedy Jr. will be at Florida Atlantic University for a lecture and book signing Nov. 2.
He’ll speak on his latest book: “American Values: Lessons I Learned from My Family,” at 6:30 p.m. that Friday in the University Theatre on FAU’s Boca Raton campus.
An environmental attorney, author, and activist, Kennedy, 64, is one of 11 children of U.S. attorney general Robert Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1968.

Kennedy will receive the Making Waves Award for his environmental activism, said Michael Horswell, dean of the Schmidt College of Arts and Letters. Kennedy is board president of the Waterkeeper Alliance he started in 1999.
Kennedy’s other books will also be on sale at the event. They are “Crimes Against Nature” and “The Riverkeepers.” The Palm Beach Book Festival is co-sponsoring Kennedy’s visit. The festival is in March 2019.
Kennedy’s mother, Ethel Kennedy, was 90 in April. His father was the attorney general in his uncle, U.S. President John F. Kennedy’s administration. He was assassinated in 1963.
