State Rep. Mike Caruso’s October update

Happy October! This year has been flying by and the 2020 Legislative Session is right around the corner.

Jan.14, 2020 will mark the first day of session. However, there are still many committee weeks left starting with Oct. 14-18, followed by Oct. 21-25, No.4-8, Nov. 12-15 and Dec. 9-3.

In September I had the honor to host a Coffee Talk event alongside County Commissioner Robert Weinroth at the Boca Raton Downtown Library.

This event was very meaningful to us. It allowed us to chat one-on-one with many constituents about what issues mattered to them. These events are productive ways for us to connect with the community and collaborate on legislation that will be beneficial for everyone. I am thankful for everyone who came out and cannot wait to host another Coffee Talk in the future.

Last month, my office had the opportunity to take part in an event with Farm Share in Boca Raton. The nonprofit organization works to fight hunger in Florida by distributing nutritious food to those in need. This distribution event was a rewarding experience and one that my staff and I are grateful to have participated in.

As always it is my honor to serve you in the Florida House. If ever I may be of service to you, please do not hesitate to contact me. My office number is 561-750-2396.

State Rep. Mike Caruso,  District 89
