Two professional ballet dancers are coming in to star in two performances of Coppélia in Boca this weekend.
This light family ballet centers around a boy, a girl, a doll and an eccentric dollmaker who wants to bring his creation to life.
Boca Ballet Theater’s performances are 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 and 2 p.m. Sunday Aug. 5.
The company’s venue is the Countess de Hoernle Theatre at Spanish River High School, 5100 Jog Road, Boca Raton.

Nicole Muratov, a dancer with Ballet de Bordeaux in France, and Jared Matthews, principal dancer with the Houston Ballet, will dance the leading roles.
The corps de ballet are dancers in Boca Ballet Theatre’s summer intensive program.
Nicole Muratov began her serious ballet training at Boca Ballet before she accepted a position at Ballet de l’Opera National de Bordeaux. Matthews is a former soloist with the American Ballet Theater in New York.
