Tickets are now on sale for the 14th Annual Boca Raton Concours d’ Elegance for auto aficionados and cycle enthusiasts.
This three-day mega event is Feb. 7 through 9. The lead-in is a lavish airport hangar party Friday night at Atlantic Aviation in Boca Raton Airport. Spectators munch on food by the bite by 25 local restaurants with wine and spirit vendors. Cars, motorcycles and private jets are spread out on the tarmac.
Tickets are $125.
Actor Billy Gardell of “Mike & Molly” fame will entertain at Saturday night’s gala, auction and awards presentation at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. Among the honorees will be Colin Brown, board chairman of JM Family, a Deerfield Beach-based diversified automotive company.
Both events lead up to Sunday’s Concours d’Elegance, a massive outdoor exhibition of classic, new and antique vehicles including motorcycles on the Resort grounds. Tickets are $100 or $150 with gourmet dining.
Spectators can also watch an outdoor competition of classic, vintage, antique and exotics autos.
Mecum Gallery Exposition will have 25 multi-million-dollar collector cars for show and sale. And the American Fine Arts Society will have automobile artists’ work on view and for sale. Both shows will be inside the Resort’s Mizner Center.
Founded by Rick and Rita Case of The Rick Case Auto Group, the Concours d’Elegance has raised $10 million for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. Presenters are AutoNation and Mercedes-Benz.
