Tint World, an automotive styling franchise headquartered in Boca Raton since 2014, has plans to expand its business to 300 stores by the year 2025, announced the South Florida Business Journal on June 25th.
Tint World has announced an aggressive expansion plan and is seeking franchisees.
The automotive styling franchise aims to have 300 stores open by 2025. This is a 400 percent increase from its current footprint of about 60 locations. Its centers sell and install an array of auto accessories including custom wheels, tire packages, window tinting, and vehicle wraps.
“This summer alone we’re looking at nine new store openings, eight of which are stateside with the last being in Dubai,” said Tint World CEO Charles Bonfiglio. “We’re also looking to expand even further in the U.S. into areas like Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut and South Carolina, and to boost our presence in states like Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and California.”
According to its website, the top 50 percent of its stores have an average annual total revenue of $862,205. A gross profit margin of 75.14 percent and an average operating income of $647,906. Potential owners must have $60,000 in liquid capital. A net worth of $150,000 and a credit score of 700 to qualify for a franchise.
The initial investment in a Tint World store ranges from $149,000 to $249,000.
Tint World was established in 1982 in Fort Lauderdale. It moved to a headquarters in Boca Raton in November 2014 with 40 stores open. Its office at 1000 Clint Moore Road serves as a training center for its franchisees.
